SERIES: MOTIONThe MOTION series is primarily focused on action. Designing for this series was focused on ergonomics and specialized constructions that are to meet specific conditions. These are the ones that act with the user as much as possible. SHAPE: ANATOMICAnatomic is the shape that most closely resembles human anatomy. Widened in the arms, chest and hips. Narrowing from the hips to the feet. Provides very good fit. It is the perfect compromise between comfort, weight and thermal comfort. PROFILE: PROFILED SECTIONSProfiled sections, the use of a boxed profile is not always justified. It is especially difficult to adapt it to lighter models. Therefore, in more complexed products, we use wedges that profile the structure or zones with box structure. CUT: SNUGTo facilitate comparison, we distinguished three fits: snug, regular and loose. LAYERS TYPE: H-SHAPED BOX BAFFLINGH-shaped or classic box baffling. The surface of the fabric and the lining are connected by a perpendicular fabric called a spacer tape. Thanks to this distance, the phenomenon of cold spots in the place of the sewning is reduced. This shape of the baffle allows the down to expand freely and give the insulation layer a regular shape. This is the most common type of baffles we use. |
1.BASED ON THE KNOWLEDGE OF SPECIALISTSX is a very specific product, therefore, when designing it, we worked with Jakub Radziejowski (UKA and IVBV) and Wadim Jabłoński (SAKWA and PHS). They are two experienced and talented mountain climbers. They helped us verify the ideas that emerged during the work on X. It took us a lot of time and work to find the right shape for this sleeping bag, which was supposed to be suitable for camping in uncomfortable positions. Suggestions from our testers often resulted in changes and improvement of solutions we came up with. While working on the X sleeping bag, we changed the entire structure three times, without changing the design assumptions. This was our “first”. |

2.ALL TO FUNCTIONALITYThe X1 is a sleeping bag where each element has been thought out for a specific purpose. It was not supposed to be the lightest or the warmest. It is a sleeping bag that is supposed to cope with camping in uncomfortable conditions. It is an attempt to find the right compromise between weight and thermal properieties, between the type of filling and compressibility, between comfort and fit. As a result of the work on the new structure, a unique sleeping bag was created, which will prove to be particularly practical during big wall, alpine climbing and camping in uncomfortable conditions. |
3.ANATOMICALOne of the main problems that we faced when creating the X1 sleeping bag was a small, irregular camping space. That is why we used an anatomical shape and a fitted hood. Thanks to them, the sleeping bag will protect you regardless of whether you will be lying or sitting, whether you will be stretched or curled up. However, we also wanted it to be a comfortable sleeping bag. That is why we have added side panels around the chest that increase thermal comfort. We also profiled the bottom in the shape of a trapezoid to ensure comfort in the feet. |

4.MOISTUREMoisture is a common problem while camping. The bottom and the hood are the most exposed to contact with water. When we sleep outside the tent, those parts most often land outside the mat. When we sleep in a tent, it often touches the tropic, which causes moisture to accumulate at the contact surface. That's why we made the bottom and hood of the X1 from the Toray Delphi membrane. Thanks to this, the most sensitive places are protected without the need to increase the weight of the entire shell. We used hydrophobic down to fill the sleeping bag. |
5.COLLARAn important element of the thermal comfort of each sleeping bag is the inner collar. However, the X1 uses an innovative solution that replaces the classic adjustable collar. When designing the construction of the sleeping bag, we planned chamber sections, the appropriate shape of which will be replaced by a collar. Thanks to this, when you fasten the sleeping bag, the collar wraps you around in the same way as in a jacket. |

6.ZIPPERThe short central zip is an important part of the X1's functionality. We wanted to create a sleeping bag for big wall and alpine climbing. Such a location of the zipper allows to clip a daisy-chain. Thanks to the location of the zipper in the middle, you can do it easily, no matter which side you want to attach the daisy-chain. The short zipper also saves weight. |
7.CONVENIENCEAn important detail for the comfort of using the sleeping bag is the adjustment of the hood from inwards. Thanks to this feature, you do not have to unzip the sleeping bag to reach for the pullers, and thus you do not lose heat. You can hide the excess puller in a special elastic pocket. |

There is a reflective patch with our logo next to the pocket, which will help you find it. The X1 has a new YKK slider to prevent clipping of the loose fabric. The zipper is equipped with a double-sided non-stopping sliders that facilitate unzipping. Each zipper has a black and white string from a Polish manufacturer. Outside, we sewed four pullers also made in Poland. |

10.HYDROPHOBIC DOWNMoisture is an age-old problem for down users. Standard down soaks up with water, becomes heavy and loses warming capacity . Fortunately, it dries easily and regains its parameters. Hydrophobic down helps to deal with this problem. In our offer, we use hydrophobic polish goose down with a fill power of 800 cuin. The hydrophobic down is soaked in water-repellent compounds. As a result, even when exposed to water, it remains dry for a long time. It is a phenomenal solution for anyone who wants to use down in humid conditions - sleeping in positive temperatures in open air, or negative temperatures in a tent, or warming yourself up during rainy days . |
11.HYBRID SHELLWe made the outer shell of the X from two different fabrics. We have combined the Toray Delfy membrane with the light and breathable PERTEX QUANTUM. All this to ensure the perfect compromise between weight and protection against moisture, and to increase the breathability of the shell in the most important place for moisture circulation. |
