HIPOTERMIA

1.

NEW PROJECT

The Deep Hypothermia Treatment Center is a team of professionals who create new standards for saving people in hypothermia. Both in terms of implementing new medical solutions and creating operating procedures during a rescue operation. Their work has been awarded for exceptional contribution in the field of public health by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the procedure already in force in Poland is likely to become standard in other countries as well.

Cooperation with the team of the Deep Hypothermia Treatment Center is a completely new challenge for us. Together, we are to create a system for evacuation and thermal protection, which would become part of their procedure. The experience in creating rescue equipment gained in cooperation with Bezpieczny Kazbek and the Jura Group of GOPR will certainly be helpful. However, the realities of mountain rescuers' activities are radically different from those that we must take into account when designing equipment for operation in ambulances. Soon we will find out what the effects of our joint work will be. To be honest, we are looking forward to seeing them ourselves.
