Polygiene has made all the effort to limit the impact on the environment. It uses silver chloride, naturally present in water and soil. Its particles are characterized by a large number of silver ions, therefore the production of Polygiene requires very small amounts of silver salts. Moreover, Polygiene is layerd on our lining during the finishing process. This helps to minimize the impact on the environment as no additional energy or water is required.
A very important feature of the Polygiene technology is its durability. Contrary to most fabrics with silver polymers, these polymers are integral part of the fabric because it is not based on interaction of the solution with the fabric. Therefore, it remains on it regardless of its use and the number of washes.
