RESCUE SYSTEMS

The solutions we proposed are unique and are a result of thoughtful examination of users' needs. They focus on the thermal aspect, the ease of securing the injured, access to the injured during medical procedures with minimal heat loss and compatibility with the rest of the equipment used during the action. At the moment, we have three products appropriately designed for first contact, transport in a sked stretcher and in a basket stretcher.

SHAPE: OWAL

Oval is a shape that offers a lot of comfort and space inside the sleeping bag. It focuses on integrating all construction components. The hood is component of the main shell, and not a separate component of the structure, as in most sleeping bags. Therefore, by using an oval outline, we gain a lot of space around the head and chest.

PROFILE: BOX

Box is a profile in which the sides are formed by a separate component. This is a very comfortable profile. We use it in warmer sleeping bags where comfort is essential.

CUT: LOOSE

To facilitate comparison, we distinguished three fits: snug, regular and loose.

COOPERATION WITH GOPR

Our cooperation with rescuers began with the hardware support of the Bezpieczny Kazbek project. Noticing the short amount of gear, we wanted to design a system that would respond to the real needs of rescuers. We managed to create other systems in cooperation with the Jurajska GOPR Group. RES-B is intended for the evacuation of the injured in the baskets. It is a type of basket stretcher that allows you to accurately stabilize the injured. They are also perfect in combination with a quad trailer.

UNIQUE SHAPE

What makes the RES-B stand out in a special way is its shape. It has an oval outline symmetrical to both axes and a box-shaped profile. In result, it is really spacious, and the shape resembles a basket stretcher. The outline of the RES-B not only provides additional space. Its design is inspired by our BAZ1 expedition sleeping bag. It benefits from a number of thermal solutions which, despite a different type of filling, significantly improve thermal comfort. Integrated hood and the box shape significantly reduce heat loss.

FULL ACCESS

The main zipper runs along the perimeter of the sleeping bag. This solution allows for its full opening. The use of as many as 6 zippers allow access to the injured person on each section of the bracket without the need to cool the entire body. An additional, short central zipper allows easy access to the chest and internal pockets for warmers. Three zippers in this section allow the convenient use of the automatic chest compression system. We used Climashield to insulate RES-B. What distinguishes Climashield is its thermal advantages, no loss of insulation properties under pressure and resistance to moisture. Apart from that, we also designed the structure sealed. Inside, we used additional baffles filled with artificial Featherless down, and around the face we added a thermal collar. All of this to eliminate cold spots and reduce thermal bridges.

We used Climashield to insulate RES-B. What distinguishes Climashield is its thermal advantages, no loss of insulation properties under pressure and resistance to moisture. Apart from that, we also designed the structure sealed. Inside, we used additional baffles filled with artificial Featherless down, and around the face we added a thermal collar. All of this to eliminate cold spots and reduce thermal bridges.

MOISTURE

The bottom and sides of the RES-B are made of siliconed nylon reinforced with a ripstop technology. Top is made of the Toray Delphi membrane. The filling is Climashield. The choice of materials is not accidental. All of them are extremely resistant to moisture, which was the main assumption of the project intended for the activities of the Jura Group.
