RESCUE SYSTEMSThe solutions we proposed are unique and are a result of thoughtful examination of users' needs. They focus on the thermal aspect, the ease of securing the injured, access to the injured during medical procedures with minimal heat loss and compatibility with the rest of the equipment used during the action. At the moment, we have three products appropriately designed for first contact, transport in a sked stretcher and in a basket stretcher. SHAPE: ANATOMICAnatomic is the shape that most closely resembles human anatomy. Widened in the arms, chest and hips. Narrowing from the hips to the feet. Provides very good fit. It is the perfect compromise between comfort, weight and thermal comfort. PROFILE: BOXBox is a profile in which the sides are formed by a separate component. This is a very comfortable profile. We use it in warmer sleeping bags where comfort is essential. CUT: : REGULARTo facilitate comparison, we distinguished three fits: snug, regular and loose. TYP WARSTW: KOMORY TYPU HLAYERS TYPE: H-SHAPED BOX BAFFLING H-shaped or classic box baffling. The surface of the fabric and the lining are connected by a perpendicular fabric called a spacer tape. Thanks to this distance, the phenomenon of cold spots in the place of the sewning is reduced. This shape of the baffle allows the down to expand freely and give the insulation layer a regular shape. This is the most common type of baffles we use. |

As a result, a unique set of two sleeping bags was created for the evacuation of injured in mountain environment. For the purposes of the project, we have created two models, RES-L and RES-H. Both are a set of complementary evacuation sleeping bags. They can be used simultaneously or separately. The RES-L has an anatomical design and is an accessory for the light walking team. RES-H was designed for the sked stretcher. Both sleeping bags allow easy access to the injured person without larger heat loss. They are also equipped with a number of solutions facilitating the performance of rescue and medical activities. This is the first set of this type in the world! |

Designing equipment for Bezpieczny Kazbek was not an easy task. We had to learn how they work and bite into details faced by rescuers. 2.HEAVY DUTYRescuers are divided into two teams. The second team usually sets off after some time, if there is a need to evacuate at all. They go with a full load. It is planned in advance that they will reach the injured later. Based on the information they received about the accident, they must pack the appropriate equipment. They take a stretcher and additional equipment. Due to the load, they will move much slower. |
3.FULL OPENINGTwo zippers on both sides of the sleeping bag allows us to fully open the sleeping bag. Due to this, the injured person is placed instead of being pushed inside. The zippers are covered with double asymmetrical strips, which perfectly cover the zipper thus reduce heat loss. The zippers can be opened from both sides, making it easy to reach the injured legs. |

4.BOX LIKE CONSTRUCTIONThe construction of a sarcophagus with separate sides gives the sleeping bag an extra space. Due to this, you can easily put the injured person inside in a light sleeping bag. The box construction also improves the thermal properties, as there are no curves on the edges, which contribute to the weakening of the insulation layer. |
5.FEATHERLESSIn addition to the construction, the sleeping bag is unique due to the materials that we used for its production. Since it has to work well in stretchers, which often have a lot of moisture, we filled it with synthetic down. It is probably the world's first sleeping bag using featherless technology, which is usually used for clothing. We have implemented it specifically for this project. |
5.FEATHERLESSIn addition to the construction, the sleeping bag is unique due to the materials that we used for its production. Since it has to work well in stretchers, which often have a lot of moisture, we filled it with synthetic down. It is probably the world's first sleeping bag using featherless technology, which is usually used for clothing. We have implemented it specifically for this project. |
6.HYBRID SHELLIn addition, the sleeping bag has a hybrid shell. The back and sides are made of Toray Delfy's membrane, which is in contact with the stretcher. The lid is made of lightweight, breathable PERTEX Quantum fabric. As a result, we ensured optimal moisture management. Inside, of course, there is a lining covered with silver compounds in Polygiene technology. |
7.EASY ACCESSAdditional zippers help to access the injured chest and legs. We have also designed special pockets that allow direct access to the injured from the outside without the need to open the main zipper, and furthermore it is a way in for the IV or a warmer. Both in the RES-L and in the RES-H the zippers are located in the same place, due to this it is still possible to use both pockets and access the chest when using both systems at the same time. |

8.DETAILSThe whole structure is packed with important details. Hood is modeled in three dimensions. Raised, anatomical bottom to increase space. Hood adjustment extends outwards over the forehead so that the rescuer has easy access to it. Double profiled slats along the zippers. Profiled, anatomical inner collar to reduce heat loss. |
