RESCUE SYSTEMS

The solutions we proposed are unique and are a result of thoughtful examination of users' needs. They focus on the thermal aspect, the ease of securing the injured, access to the injured during medical procedures with minimal heat loss and compatibility with the rest of the equipment used during the action. At the moment, we have three products appropriately designed for first contact, transport in a sked stretcher and in a basket stretcher.

MORE ABOUT EVACUATION SYSTEMS >>>

SHAPE: ANATOMIC

Anatomic is the shape that most closely resembles human anatomy. Widened in the arms, chest and hips. Narrowing from the hips to the feet. Provides very good fit. It is the perfect compromise between comfort, weight and thermal comfort.

PROFILE: TWO-PIECE

Two-piece or classic profile in which the top and bottom are joined at the edges. The design allows to create clean oval cross-section in which the front and back of the sleeping bag smoothly pass to the sides. This is the most frequently used profile in our offer.

CUT: SNUG

To facilitate comparison, we distinguished three fits: snug, regular and loose.

LAYERS TYPE: H-SHAPED BOX BAFFLING

H-shaped or classic box baffling. The surface of the fabric and the lining are connected by a perpendicular fabric called a spacer tape. Thanks to this distance, the phenomenon of cold spots in the place of the sewning is reduced. This shape of the baffle allows the down to expand freely and give the insulation layer a regular shape. This is the most common type of baffles we use.

FIRST WORLDWIDE

Designing equipment for Bezpieczny Kazbek was not an easy task. We had to learn how they work and bite into details faced by rescuers. As a result, a unique set of two sleeping bags was created for the evacuation of injured in mountain environment. For the purposes of the project, we have created two models, RES-L and RES-H. Both are a set of complementary evacuation sleeping bags. They can be used simultaneously or separately. The RES-L has an anatomical design and is an accessory for the light walking team. RES-H was designed for the sked stretcher. Both sleeping bags allow easy access to the injured person without larger heat loss. They are also equipped with a number of solutions facilitating the performance of rescue and medical activities. This is the first set of this type in the world!

FIRST RESPONSE

Rescuers are divided into two teams. The first is usually two people whose task is to reach the injured as soon as possible. They go light. They only have their backpacks with equipment to protect themselves, basic medicine, diagnostics and equipment to protect the injured. No transport or evacuation options. They go first and wait for no one. Therefore, the RES-L designed for them is a light, anatomical structure filled with hydrophobic down and made of light PERTEX QUANTUM fabric.

3.

ANATOMICAL SHAPE

We wanted the injured person to be as protected as possible without the need for any adjustments. Therefore, the top of the sleeping bag resembles a jacket. The hood, shoulders and collar have a contoured shape to provide cosy warmth. We have also designed special compartments at the front of the collar and at the back of the neck which connect to the extended slats. This eliminates the need for an internal collar, which usually requires additional adjustment from the inside. The hood is finished with a strip around the face with the adjustment outside.

FULL OPENING

Two zippers on both sides of the sleeping bag allows us to fully open the sleeping bag. Due to this, the injured person is placed instead of being pushed inside. The zippers are covered with double asymmetrical strips, which perfectly cover the zipper thus reduce heat loss. The zippers can be opened from both sides, making it easy to reach the injured legs.

5.

EASY ACCESS

Additional zippers help to access the injured chest and legs. We have also designed special pockets that allow direct access to the injured from the outside without the need to open the main zipper, and furthermore it is a way in for the IV or a warmer. Both in the RES-L and in the RES-H the zippers are located in the same place, due to this it is still possible to use both pockets and access the chest when using both systems at the same time.

PROFILED BOTTOM

The bottom is also an important element. We have designed special wedges that create space for the legs without widening the entire structure. This is especially important because the injured often end up in a sleeping bag with their shoes on.
